Event Overview
The Billing is a winter trail run near Leeds, West Yorkshire. It is organized by Great Owl Running. The route is approximately 14 km long with an ascent of 277 meters.
Route and Course
The event starts and finishes at The Emmott Arms pub in Rawdon. The course is a single lap. It heads up the Billing hill, passes through the top of Yeadon, includes a lap around the perimeter fence of Leeds Bradford Airport, and features a second ascent of The Billing on the return. The terrain includes fields, trails, and public footpaths. The route is described as undulating and mostly traffic-free, with way markers.
Event Details
Registration takes place at the event headquarters. There is free parking, secure bag storage, and toilets available. A mandatory kit list is provided for participants. The event has a maximum capacity of 100 places.
Additional Information
Medals and T-shirts are optional extras that can be purchased separately during entry. Participants can also make a donation to a "Trees Not Tees" initiative, which plants a native tree.
