The Big Santa Dash - Lancaster
The event day in Lancaster on 20th December 2026 includes a festive fun run, a 10k road race and a half marathon. The organiser is Lancaster Races and the events support CancerCare; every entry includes a donation to CancerCare.
All participants receive a medal. Spot prize T shirts are available in all events and Candy Canes are given to Big Santa Dash participants. The event holds UKA licence number 31303.

The Santa Dash welcomes Christmas fancy dress and requires children under six to run with an adult. Fancy dress is also welcomed in the 10k. Prizes are awarded to the first three male and first three female finishers in the 10k and the half marathon.
Entry fees vary by event, with different rates for affiliated and unaffiliated athletes and discounted rates for Lancaster Runner's Club members. Online and on the day entry options are available, and the organiser operates a no refunds, swaps or deferrals policy.
