About the race
The event at 3-1-5 Health Club (LA1 3PE) on 20 December 2026 comprises three organised races on public roads with a UKA licence number 31303. The programme includes short festive and longer competitive distances.
Distances:
- 1 mile Santa Dash fun run
- 10 km Christmas Cracker 10k
- Half marathon Turkey Trot
All participants in all events receive a medal. Candy canes are given to Big Santa Dash participants and spot prize T-shirts are available in all events. Fancy dress is welcomed for the Santa Dash and the 10k. Children under six should run with an adult. Prizes for the 10k and half marathon are awarded to the first three male and first three female finishers.
Entry fees are listed separately for online and on-the-day entries, with different rates for affiliated and unaffiliated athletes and concessions for Lancaster Runners Club members; some online portals may add a small charge. On-the-day entries are cash only. The organiser operates a no refunds, swaps or deferrals policy. Race results are published after the event.
