The Big Run Presented by Brooks : Greenwood
The event is a community Fun Run 5K taking place at Freedom Park in Greenwood, Indiana on June 2, 2026. It is presented by Brooks in partnership with Fleet Feet as part of Global Running Day and Fleet Feet’s fiftieth anniversary activities.
The run covers a 5K distance (3.1 miles). The event is untimed and will not include official race timing, participant medals, or overall or age group awards. Participants are asked to follow park rules.
Registration for the Greenwood event is free. Registration opens April 22, 2026 and closes June 1, 2026. The first 50 registered participants will receive a Brooks gift valued at $50; recipients must take part in the event to receive the gift. Only one event t-shirt will be issued per person.
This event is part of the Brooks Extreme Global Running Day Challenge. That challenge requires participation in the Greenwood event on June 2 and a separate North Indianapolis event on June 6. Challenge participants receive a Fleet Feet Indianapolis gift certificate and become eligible for Brooks gear prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
