The Big Game Run
The Big Game Run takes place in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is a football-themed athletic event held in February. The primary race is a 4-mile run, structured to mirror the four downs in a game of football. This event encourages participants to represent their favorite sports teams by wearing jerseys or costumes. Registered runners receive a custom bib in their chosen team colors.

The course for the 4-mile event begins and ends at the East gate of the Panther Stadium on Mint Street. The route follows a beautiful out and back path via the Wesley Heights Greenway and the Irwin Creek Greenway before returning to the city streets of Charlotte. Children participating in the 100-yard dash also receive a mini football. For those unable to attend the physical location, a virtual version of the 4-mile distance is provided.
