The Big Energy Walk 5K : Holtsville, NY
The Big Energy Walk is a family friendly, non-competitive 5K walk and run held in Holtsville, New York on October 4, 2026. The event is organized in partnership with the Suffolk County chapter of CHADD. One hundred percent of net proceeds will be donated to CHADD of Suffolk County to support resources and education for people affected by ADHD.
The event offers registration categories for adults and children age 13 and up, children age 5 to 12, and children age 4 and under. Children age 4 and under may register for free. Registration is required in advance and is non refundable and non transferable. Registration closes October 3, 2026. Complimentary event T shirts are guaranteed for participants ages 5 and up who register by September 1, 2026; T shirts will be distributed at the event.
The event is stroller friendly and is explicitly non timed and non competitive. Raffle tickets will be available at the event and raffle winners must be present to claim prizes. Parking is free for all participants. The event is planned as rain or shine; organizers may delay, modify, reschedule, or cancel the event if severe weather or unsafe conditions occur.
