The Big Energy Walk in Holtsville, New York
The Big Energy Walk is a family-friendly, non-competitive 5K walk/run held in Holtsville, NY, in partnership with the Suffolk County Chapter of CHADD. The event is stroller friendly and is presented to raise awareness of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and to connect families with local resources. One hundred percent of net proceeds will benefit CHADD of Suffolk County.
The event location is 249 Buckley Rd, Holtsville, NY 11742. Free parking is provided for all participants. A raffle will be held and winners must be present to claim prizes. Event T-shirts are distributed at the venue; complimentary shirts are guaranteed for participants ages five and up who register by September 1, 2026. The event is rain or shine; organizers may delay, modify, reschedule or cancel for severe weather or unsafe conditions.
Advanced registration is required and no registration will be available on the day of the event. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Registration deadlines and fees vary by period: early registration (June 22–July 31) sets fees at $25 for ages 13 and up, $15 for ages 5–12, and free for ages 4 and under; regular registration (August 1–September 1) raises those fees to $30 and $20 respectively; late registration (September 2–October 3) sets fees at $35 and $25 respectively.
