The Big Energy Walk 5K in Holtsville
The Big Energy Walk is presented as Long Island's first family friendly, non competitive 5K walk/run held in partnership with the Suffolk County Chapter of CHADD. The event raises awareness about ADHD and connects families with support and resources. One hundred percent of net proceeds will be donated to CHADD of Suffolk County.
Event features include check in, T shirt pickup, raffle ticket sales, welcome and opening remarks, a 5K walk/run, and a raffle with winners required to be present to claim prizes. The event is not timed and is stroller friendly. Complimentary parking is provided for all participants. T shirts are guaranteed for participants ages 5 and up who register by September 20, 2026 and will be distributed at the event.
Registration is required in advance and is non refundable and non transferable. Registration periods and fees are listed by date range: early registration (July 1 to July 31), regular registration (August 1 to September 20) and late registration (September 21 to October 17). Fee levels differ by age group, with children ages 4 and under eligible for free registration. The organizers reserve the right to delay, modify, reschedule or cancel the event in the case of severe weather or unsafe conditions.
