Event overview
The event is a 5K run/walk that includes a free kiddie dash. A virtual option is offered; virtual participants have from the first day of the event through the following week to log a time and upload up to five photos. Race merchandise and participant items begin shipping on the first day of the event.
Location
The course is at Belmont Lake State Park in West Babylon, New York. Bathrooms are available within a few minutes' walk from the start and finish areas.
Amenities and logistics
An informal bag-check area is provided; organizers do not assume responsibility for personal belongings. Hydration is supplied at the finish line. High-quality refreshments are provided by event partners. A commemorative tee and other race gear are available. In-person bib pickup is available shortly before the event, or a bib can be mailed for a $10 fee if registered at least 10 days in advance.
Results, recognition and beneficiary
Live online, email and text results are offered, along with same-day finish-line photos and video. There are no awards, but online age-group recognition will be posted and sent by text or email. Recognition categories include Top 1 overall and age groups from 14 & under through 90+. Donations from the event benefit the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
