NSRF Suffolk Ugly Sweater 5K
The event is a festive 5K run/walk held at Belmont Lake State Park in West Babylon, New York on December 20, 2026. It offers both in-person and virtual participation; virtual participants may record their time during the event window and submit results and photos online through the event platform.
Participants receive an ugly sweater medal and a long sleeve race tee. Amenities at the site include an informal bag check area, restroom facilities within a few minutes' walk of the start and finish, hydration at the finish line, and refreshments provided by event sponsors. A free kiddie dash is offered for young participants.
Registration options include in-person and virtual entries and an optional bib mailing service for an additional fee. Registration fees are non-refundable and are applied to race expenses. A portion of event proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports local youth and special needs events and athletic development.
The event posts live online results and same-day finish line photos; age group standings and top finishers by category are shared online and via text or email. Race organizers provide guidance on bib placement and timing submission for virtual entries, and offer purchase protection as an optional service during checkout. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
