About the race
The Coffee Lover Run SAN DIEGO takes place at Mission Point in San Diego, California on April 24, 2027. The event offers in-person and virtual options and uses capped waves to keep field sizes small; waves may fill quickly and a waitlist and virtual option are available once a wave is full.
Participants can choose from these distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half-Marathon (13.1)
- Virtual Run
- Family 1 Mile Fun Run
The event provides mailed swag to U.S. addresses instead of packet pickup. The swag bag includes a running T-shirt, a finisher's medal, and a virtual training run sent by email; participants may upgrade to a lightweight technical shirt for an additional five dollars. Shirts are shipped to participants the week of the race; registrations within two weeks may receive swag after race day.
Timing is optional: participants may track their own time with common apps and submit results for posting, or ask a coordinator for timing help. Race bibs are handed out on race day. Coordinators remain on site for three hours after the first wave. The organizer publishes online results and a certificate of completion and offers an invitation to join local running clubs as part of the event experience.
