Aloha Run San Diego : event overview
The Aloha Run San Diego offers timed 5K and 10K Run/Walk options at Tecolote Shores Park on Mission Bay. The courses follow a scenic bayside route and are described as flat and waterfront. Chip timing is provided for official results.
Participants receive a collector’s finisher medal and an Aloha Run beach T-shirt. A post-race festival at the finish area includes live music, dancers, and food. Awards are given to the top three finishers in five-year age groups.
Entry fees are listed separately for the two distances and increase on June 26. Children under three years old do not need to be registered.
Parking is available in nearby lots and on-street spaces north of the race site, including a dirt lot at the Sea World Drive and Pacific Highway area and multiple lots along East Mission Bay Drive. Street parking may require back-in parking in some areas. Carpooling, ride services, and drop-off options are noted as alternatives to driving.
Course maps are provided for each distance and the event is presented in a Hawaiian theme consistent with other Aloha Run events in Southern California. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
