A Merry Christmas Run takes place at Mission Point in San Diego, California on December 26, 2026. The event offers in-person and virtual options and uses a wave system with a capacity limit per wave; virtual entries and a wait list are available if waves fill.
The event welcomes runners and walkers of all paces and ages when accompanied by a guardian for participants under 18. Timing is optional and no timing chips are used; participants may track their own time with an app or request assistance from event coordinators. Coordinators remain onsite for several hours after the first wave.

- Half marathon 13.1
- Virtual run
- Family 1 mile
Registered participants receive a mailed running T-shirt in the US, a finisher item such as a towel or giveaway, a finisher medal, a digital training pack, and an online results certificate. Technical running shirts are available as an optional upgrade for an additional fee. Race bibs are provided on race day and organizers ship swag directly to the mailing address provided; shirts are shipped the week of the race.
