Event Overview
The Bagel Run offers runners a choice of distances: 5K, 10K, or Half-Marathon (13.1 miles). There is also a 1 Mile Family Fun Run and a Virtual Run option. The event takes place at Mission Point in San Diego, California.
Participation Details
All paces and ages are welcome; participants under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. The event is described as a smaller, private group run with capped waves. Timing is optional, with no timing chips provided; participants may track their own time using an app.
What's Included
Registration includes a running T-shirt shipped to a US address, a finisher's towel or giveaway item, a finisher's medal, a digital training pack, online results, and an invitation to join a local running club. Technical running shirts are available as an optional upgrade.
Logistics
Packet pickup is not required, as race bibs are provided on race day and swag is shipped directly to participants. Race updates and course maps are emailed the Wednesday before the event. Late registrants may receive their shirt after the run.
Additional Information
Waves start at 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, and 8:30 AM. Late runners can start upon arrival, as coordinators stay for three hours after the first wave. The event has a fundraising initiative where every mile logged after the race can generate a $1 donation to charity (fundraising is optional).
