Event Overview
The Pirate 5K & Half Marathon at Tyler takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Tyler, Texas. The event is held at Southside Park. It features two distance options: a 5K and a Half Marathon. Both races start together.
Course Details
The courses are out-and-back loops. The 5K route is approximately 0.78 miles (1.55 miles round trip), and runners complete this loop twice to reach the 5K distance. The Half Marathon route is approximately 1.09 miles (2.18 miles round trip), and runners complete this loop six times to reach the half marathon distance. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is in place for all participants.
Registration and Logistics
All runners must register online in advance; there is no on-site registration on race day. Packet pickup for registered participants begins 30 minutes before the race start and concludes 10 minutes before the start.
Additional Features
