About the race
The Remembrance Run Tyler benefitting The Children's Park is the sixth annual event, held on May 2, 2026, at The Children's Park in Tyler, Texas. The event raises funds for The Children's Park and supports bereavement care provided locally to families grieving the loss of a child. The event features a scenic route that starts and ends at The Children's Park. A separate Kids Dash takes place on Dobbs St.
Organizers offer Legacy Signs that can be posted along the route in memory of a family member, friend, or pet; a Legacy Sign requires a $100 donation and is available to keep after the event. The deadline to order a Legacy Sign is April 24. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event at Allison's House, located at 110 E. Dobbs St., Tyler.
Race times will be available via live online results. All finishers for every distance receive a finisher's medal; the top three overall male and female finishers receive additional awards. Registered participants receive a t-shirt and a swag bag. Distances and event options: - Remembrance Run 5K - 1 Mile - Kids Dash (on Dobbs St.) - Legacy Sign Purchase Only (no race).
