About the race
Sloth Run 5K/10K/13.1 TAMPA is a community running event held on April 10, 2027 at Courtney Campbell Trail in Tampa, Florida. The event emphasizes a relaxed, small-group atmosphere with capped fields per wave so runs do not feel crowded. Options include in-person distances and a virtual run.

Timing is optional; there are no timing chips. Participants may track their own time with apps such as Strava or RunKeeper and submit results through the organizer’s online process, or ask a coordinator for timing assistance on-site. Final participant information and course maps are sent the Wednesday before race day. Coordinators remain on-site for three hours after the first wave to support late arrivals.
Swag and race materials are handled by mail for U.S. addresses: a running T-shirt shipped to the participant, a finisher's medal, a virtual training run emailed in advance, online results and a certificate of completion, and an invitation to join a local run club. Race bibs are handed out on race day; packet pickup lines are bypassed. A lightweight technical shirt upgrade is available for an additional $5.
