The New Year's Run is a multi-distance event held at Crissy Field, San Francisco, CA 94129. Distances offered for the event include:

Online registration for the event is closed. The event uses a wave start format with a cap per wave; late arrivals may still run on arrival while coordinators remain on site for a limited time. A virtual run option is available and can be completed at any location using a tracking device.

Timing is optional and there are no timing chips; participants may track time with third-party apps and submit results for posting. Race bibs are provided on race day. Swag is shipped to participants' mailing addresses in the United States rather than picked up on site.
