The Rattlesnake Ramble 5K/10K/Half Marathon is scheduled for March 13–16, 2026 in Santa Venetia, California. The event offers both live and virtual participation options. Course and difficulty
The courses are on trails and include technical terrain and single-track sections. The 5K has some technical terrain with minimal ascent and descent. The 10K includes technical terrain, single-track trails, and nearly 1,000 feet of total ascent and descent. The half marathon includes technical terrain, single-track trails, and nearly 1,700 feet of total ascent and descent and is described as a stout challenge; it is not recommended for runners who have not previously covered the distance or who are not currently doing trail running.
Policies and race items
The event does not support refunds, transfers, or credits for cancellations, including cancellations due to wildfires, hazardous air quality, weather, natural disasters, pandemics, or other force majeure events. If a live race is cancelled for such reasons, race items will be shipped to participants and guidance will be provided for navigating the course and submitting results. The event includes race swag such as a woodallion, a custom shirt previewed from 2025, and a custom beer sampler stein for participants.
