The event is a community road run at Sutter's Landing Regional Park in Sacramento, California. It offers timed and untimed options across several distances and includes a virtual entry that can be completed at any place and time. The event uses wave starts with a cap per wave; waves are filled on a first come, first serve basis and a wait list and virtual option are available when waves sell out.
Participants may track their time with running apps and submit results for online posting. No timing chips are used; coordinators can assist with timekeeping. Packet pickup is not required because race shirts and some swag are shipped to the US mailing address provided at registration. Race bibs are provided on race day. A technical running shirt upgrade is available for an additional fee.
Finishers receive a medal and either a towel or other giveaway, plus a digital training pack and an online certificate of completion.
