The Run for Chocolate 5K/10K/13.1 SACRAMENTO takes place on July 4, 2026 at Sutter's Landing Regional Park in Sacramento, California. The event is organized as smaller, private group waves with a cap per wave and waves allocated on a first come first serve basis. If waves are full, a virtual option or a wait list is available.

Typical swag items include a running T-shirt, a finisher towel or giveaway, a finisher medal, and a digital training pack. Technical running shirts are available as an optional upgrade for an additional fee. Shirts are mailed the week of the race but late registrations may receive shirts after the event.
