Race Overview
The Wild Rose Half Marathon & 5K is held in Roseville, California. The event starts and finishes at Moksa Barrel House. Participants can choose from three divisions: a half marathon, a 5K run, and a 5K walk. All participants receive a finisher's medal. A post-race raffle offers prizes from event sponsors.
Race Divisions
- 5K Walk: A non-competitive option with a focus on participation. Walkers receive a participant award and a beer ticket.
- 5K Run: A competitive race on a flat course with 40 feet of elevation gain. Runners are eligible for top finisher awards.
- Half Marathon: A forked out-and-back course on the Pleasant Grove Bike Path with less than 240 feet of elevation gain. Runners are eligible for top finisher awards.
Course and Support
All courses use smooth, paved trails. The half marathon course has seven aid station stops providing water and hydration mix. The 5K course has two aid station stops.
Participant Perks
All half marathon and 5K runners receive their choice of a Wild Rose technical shirt or a BOCO running hat. All participants receive a finisher's medal and a drink ticket from Moksa Brewing Co.
