Event Overview
The Cinco De Mayo Run is a community-focused running event held at Sunset Park in Las Vegas. The event offers a variety of distances to accommodate different fitness interests, including walking and running. Organized as a small, private group run, the event utilizes a wave-based start system to maintain a manageable group size for all participants.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 1 Mile Fun Run
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 mile (Half-Marathon)
Participation Details
The event is open to all ages and paces, though participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. This is a stress-free run without the use of timing chips. Runners who wish to track their performance may use their own apps or request assistance from on-site coordinators to record their times for the online results page.
Logistics and Swag
There is no formal packet pickup required. Event shirts are shipped directly to the participant's registered US address, typically arriving during the week of the race. Race bibs are distributed on-site on the day of the event. All participants receive a finisher's medal, a towel or giveaway item, and a digital training pack. An optional technical running shirt upgrade is also available during registration.
Virtual Option
A virtual run alternative is available for those who cannot attend in person. This option includes the digital training tools and allows participants to complete their chosen distance at any location. Medals are sent upon the submission of running results via email.
