Lois and Larry C. Bolden 5K Fun Run/Walk
The Lois and Larry C. Bolden 5K Fun Run/Walk is a community 5K run and walk in Las Vegas organized by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Theta Theta Omega Chapter, together with Twenty Pearls Foundation, Inc. The event honors the late Lois Bolden, a retired educator and charter member of Theta Theta Omega, and her late husband Larry Bolden, who served as the first Black Deputy Chief of the Las Vegas Police Department. The event recognizes their dedication to service, scholarship, and breaking barriers in the Las Vegas community.
