Run for Chocolate 5K/10K/13.1 KANSAS CITY
This event takes place on July 4, 2026, at Mill Creek Park on Broadway Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri. The format is a smaller, private group run with participant caps per wave; waves are filled on a first come, first served basis and a wait list and a virtual option are available when waves sell out.

Timing at the event is optional and no timing chips are used. Participants may track time with personal apps and submit results for posting, or request help from coordinators for timekeeping. Race bibs are provided on race day.
Event swag is shipped to the registrant’s US mailing address and includes a running T-shirt, a finisher towel or giveaway, a finisher medal, and a digital training pack. Technical running shirts are offered as an optional upgrade for an additional fee. Online results and a certificate of completion are provided, and registrants receive an invitation to local running clubs.
Organizers send a final update with course maps the Wednesday before the event. Late registrations are accepted close to race day, though mailed shirts may arrive after the run.
