PB&J Fuel Run Fort Worth
The PB&J Fuel Run is a community-oriented event held in Fort Worth, designed as a small, private group run with participation caps per wave. The event emphasizes a stress-free environment where runners and walkers of all ages and paces can participate.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 1 mile (Family Fun Run)
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 13.1 miles (Half-marathon)
The run does not use timing chips. Instead, timing is optional; participants can track their own progress using various mobile apps or request assistance from on-site coordinators to record their times for online posting.
The event structure removes the traditional packet pickup process. Swag, including a running t-shirt and a digital training pack, is shipped directly to the participant's provided address. Race bibs are distributed on the day of the event. Participants also receive a finisher's medal and a towel or giveaway item.
A virtual run option is available for those unable to attend in person, allowing for completion at any location. This option includes digital tools and the same finisher medal upon submission of results. The event also maintains a charity component where additional miles logged after the race contribute to donations for various organizations.
