Purple Dress Run Half Marathon
The Purple Dress Run Half Marathon is part of the inaugural Purple Dress Run held on October 24, 2026 at James McKnight Park East, 700 U.S. 287 North, Mansfield, Texas 76063. The event is dedicated to raising awareness and funds to address domestic violence.
Participants are asked to wear something purple, such as a purple dress, t-shirt, or costume, to show visible support for survivors. The funds raised will directly benefit Chozn 2 Outreach to provide household items and clothing for victims and their families.
Distances offered at the in-person event include:
- 1 Mile
- 3.1 Miles (5K)
- 6.2 Miles (10K)
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
In-person registration for the races opens March 1, 2026 and closes April 1, 2026. A virtual option is available with registration opening February 25, 2026 and closing October 12, 2026. Entry fees are listed for each option: 1 Mile $20.00, 5K $25.00, 10K $35.00, Half Marathon $50.00, Virtual $50.00.
