The in-person format uses a wave system with a cap per wave; waves are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is described as a smaller, private group run. All paces and ages may participate; participants under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Running and walking are both permitted.
Timing is optional and no timing chips are used. Participants may track time with common running apps (for example, Strava, RunKeeper, Nike Run) and submit results for online posting; coordinators can also assist with timekeeping.
Participants receive a swag package shipped to U.S. mailing addresses, which includes a running t-shirt, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a finisher's medal, and a digital training pack. Race bibs are provided on race day and an online certificate of completion and results are available. Technical running shirts are available as an optional upgrade for an additional fee.
