About the race
Sloth Run in Camden takes place on April 10, 2027, at Wiggins Waterfront Park on Riverside Drive. The event offers several distance options and a smaller, local field with capped waves so the course does not feel crowded.
Distances include:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half-marathon 13.1
- Virtual Run
- Family 1 Mile Fun Run
Timing is optional and there are no timing chips; participants may track their own time with apps and submit results for posting. Final participant information and course maps are emailed by the Wednesday before race day. Packet pickup is minimized: shirts and swag are shipped to the registrant's U.S. mailing address and race bibs are handed out on race day. Coordinators remain on site for three hours after the first wave to assist late arrivals. The virtual option lets participants run on their own schedule and includes a digital training pack.
Event registration fees are listed per distance and include mandatory charges. Swag for in-person and virtual participants includes a running T-shirt shipped within the U.S., a finisher medal, a virtual training run emailed before the event, online results and a certificate, and an invitation to join a local running club. A lightweight technical shirt is available as a paid upgrade. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
