Event overview
The Memorial Day Run in Sacramento takes place on May 23, 2026, at Sutter's Landing Regional Park on 28th Street. The event includes in-person and virtual options and uses wave starts with a cap per wave. Timing is optional; participants may track time with apps and submit results for posting. No timing chips are used. Race bibs are provided on race day. Swag items are shipped to US mailing addresses and shirts are mailed the week of the race.

Registrants receive a swag bag that includes a running t-shirt (US only), a finisher's medal, a finisher's towel or giveaway, a digital training pack, and an online certificate of completion. A technical running shirt is available as an optional upgrade for an additional $5. Packet pickup is not required because swag is mailed. Virtual entries can be completed any time and place using a tracking device; virtual participants receive a digital training pack and can submit results to receive a medal.
