The Best Dam 5K, 10K, 15K Race at Huffman MetroPark
The event takes place at Huffman Dam and Huffman MetroPark in Dayton, Ohio, with the facility address listed as 4440 Lower Valley Pike. The course uses a smooth, fully paved bike path and is described as a 1.55 mile loop that returns to the start and finish area for repeated access to hydration.
Distances offered
- 5K 3.1 miles out and back on the 1.55 mile loop
- 10K 6.2 miles achieved by completing the 5K course twice
- 15K 9.3 miles offered as a separate race distance
Tshirts are guaranteed for participants who register before June 4; tshirts are not guaranteed after that date. All participants will receive a medal. A water station is available at the start and finish area so runners return to hydration approximately every 1.55 miles along the loop.
Parking for the event will be on nearby residential streets and along the side of the bike park next to the race start area. Organizers request that participants do not use the Skyward parking lot. Participants are advised to use restroom facilities before arrival because on-course restroom details are not provided.
