The Best Dam races
The Best Dam races take place at Huffman Dam in Huffman MetroPark, Dayton, Ohio. The course uses a smooth, paved bike path and follows a route on the park's paved trail.
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 15K (9.3 miles)
The 5K course is an out-and-back route. Participants travel 1.55 miles before turning around and returning to the finish for a total of 3.1 miles.
10K participants complete the 5K course twice. The event includes a 15K distance, listed as 9.3 miles.
Registration for the events opens in February and March 2026 and closes on June 20, 2026. Fees are listed as $32 for the 5K, $42 for the 10K, and $52 for the 15K.
Tshirts are guaranteed for registrations before June 8 and are not guaranteed after that date. All participants receive a medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
