The BayRun 26
The BayRun 26 takes place on Sunday, 2 August 2026 at Leichhardt Oval Number 3, Maliyawul Street, Lilyfield NSW, Australia. The event presents several running and walking options for different ages and preferences and includes a primary school challenge and a dog category.
Distances and event categories include:
- 7 km adult run or walk - adults 18 and over.
- 7 km junior run or walk - 17 years and under.
- 7 km Fastest Dog in the West - all ages welcome.
- 2 km Primary School Challenge - children aged 5 to 12 years.
- 2 km Dobroyd Dash - timed option for non-primary runners.
- 2 km Accompanying Adult - non-timed option for adults accompanying children.
Race fees are organised into three pricing periods: Early Bird (exp. 30/6/2026), Standard (exp. 2/8/2026) and On The Day. Registration prices increase by A$5 in each period. Example Early Bird prices listed include A$50 for the 7 km adult category and A$30 for the 7 km junior category; 2 km Primary School registrations start at A$20.
Online entries are available until the race starts. For the Primary School Challenge the registering participant must be primary age (5 to 12 years, age as on race day); adults wishing to accompany a child can register as an Accompanying Adult.
