BTC Women's Triathlon
The Balmoral Tri Club Women's Triathlon is a women-only, non-competitive event held on Sunday 6 December 2026 at Middle Head, Mosman, New South Wales. The event follows the "Finish Lines, Not Finish Times" approach and supports the Cherish Women's Cancer Foundation.
The course comprises three short segments:
- 200m swim at Obelisk Beach
- 9km bike on closed roads around Chowder Bay
- 2km run on Middle Head Oval
Entry options include individual and team registrations. Individual entry is A$25 with BTC donating A$5 from each entry to the named charity. Team entry is A$50 with BTC donating A$10 from each team entry. Team member registration is free once the team captain has registered and paid.
The event includes an eight-week training program and two coached training sessions provided by Energy Link Performance Coaching. Every participant receives a finisher medal and a yellow swim cap chosen in honour of Rachel Monahan. The event emphasizes a welcoming community atmosphere and offers a traffic-free bike course consisting of laps on Chowder Bay Road.
