The Bay Aquathlon Series - Race 3
The Bay Aquathlon Series returns for 2026 with a three‑race open water aquathlon held at Swansea Bay. This entry allows competitors to take part in individual races or enter the full series across the three dates in June, July, and August. The final race in the series is scheduled for 27 August 2026.
Each race offers three distance options, described below:
- Sprint distance: 750m open water swim and a 5k run
- Super Sprint Plus distance: 400m open water swim and a 5k run
- Super Sprint distance: 400m open water swim and a 3k run
Relay entries are available for each distance and ticketed pricing varies by category. The event programme includes registration, transition access, a mandatory race briefing, a period for acclimatisation, the race itself, and an award ceremony. The race start is on the beach at Swansea Bay. Nearby parking includes the Recreation Ground Car Park and additional local parking; charges may apply.
