The Bay Aquathlon Series - Race 3
The Bay Aquathlon Series returns for 2026 with the final race held at Swansea Bay. The event is an open water aquathlon organised by Aspire X Events. The series includes three separate race dates and there is an option to enter the full series.
Each individual race offers three distance choices:
- Sprint distance: 750m open water swim and a 5k run; aimed at more experienced athletes.
- Super Sprint Plus distance: 400m open water swim and a 5k run; an option for less confident swimmers.
- Super Sprint distance: 400m open water swim and a 3k run; aimed at beginners.
The published event schedule includes registration, a transition area, a mandatory race briefing, an acclimatisation period, and an award ceremony. Details such as the event pack will be made available by the organiser.
The race start is on the beach adjacent to Secret's Bar & Kitchen. The Recreation Ground Car Park is a short walk from the start and there is additional parking in the surrounding area; parking charges may apply.
