The Bay Aquathlon Series - Race 3, Swansea Bay
The Bay Aquathlon Series returns for 2026 with a three-race open water aquathlon programme, concluding with Race 3 at Swansea Bay on Thursday 27th August. The series offers individual race entries and an option to enter the full series covering all three dates in June, July and August.
Each race offers three distance categories:
- Sprint distance: 750m open water swim and a 5k run
- Mini Sprint distance: 400m open water swim and a 5k run
- Super Sprint distance: 400m open water swim and a 3k run
Entry fees for individual races range from £29.95 to £44.95. Series booking options are available that combine the three race dates.
Logistics note: the race starts on the beach adjacent to Secret's Bar & Kitchen. The Recreation Ground Car Park is a short walk from the start and there is additional parking in the surrounding area; parking charges may apply. The event schedule includes registration, access to transition, a mandatory race briefing, an acclimatisation period and an award ceremony. An event pack is listed as coming soon.
