Event overview
The Bay Aquathlon Series - Race 3 is the final race in a three-date open water aquathlon series organised by Aspire X Events. Race 3 takes place on 27 August 2026. The series also includes races on 16 June 2026 and 16 July 2026. Series booking options are available that cover all three events.
Distances and entry details
Each race offers three distance options and relay entries for each distance:
- Sprint: 750 m open water swim and a 5 km run. Open to entrants aged 15 and over on 31/12/2026.
- Mini Sprint: 400 m open water swim and a 5 km run. Open to entrants aged 15 and over on 31/12/2026.
- Super Sprint: 400 m open water swim and a 3 km run. Open to entrants aged 13 and over on 31/12/2026.
Entry fees vary by distance and by individual or relay entry. Offers for multiple race series are listed separately.
Location and event logistics
The event is held at Swansea Bay. The race start is on the beach adjacent to Secret's Bar & Kitchen. The Recreation Ground Car Park is a short walk from the start and additional parking is available nearby; parking charges may apply. The event programme includes registration, transition access, a mandatory race briefing, an acclimatisation period, and an award presentation. An event pack is noted as coming soon.
