The Bay Aquathlon Series - Race 3
The Bay Aquathlon Series returns to Swansea Bay for the final race of the 2026 series on 27 August 2026. The event is an open water aquathlon held on the beach adjacent to Secret's Bar & Kitchen. The Recreation Ground Car Park is a short walk from the start and additional parking is available nearby; charges may apply.
The series includes three event dates: 16 June, 16 July, and 27 August. Each individual race offers three distance formats:
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 5 km run.
- Super Sprint Plus: 400 m swim, 5 km run.
- Super Sprint: 400 m swim, 3 km run.
The shorter swim distances provide an option for participants who are less confident in open water, while the Sprint distance features a longer swim and run. Relay entries are available for the distance categories. Entry prices for individual races range from £29.95 to £44.95. Series booking options are offered to enter all three races.
Event operations include registration, transition area access, a mandatory race briefing, an acclimatisation period, and an awards presentation. The organiser is Aspire X Events and an event pack will be published prior to the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
