Event and location

The Bay Aquathlon Series - Race 3 is the final race of the 2026 Bay Aquathlon Series and takes place on 27 August 2026 in Swansea Bay. The event is organised by Aspire X Events. The race starts on the beach adjacent to Secret's Bar & Kitchen. The Recreation Ground Car Park is a short walk from the start and there is additional parking nearby; charges may apply.

Race formats, eligibility and entry

Each race offers three distances:

Sprint: 750m open water swim and a 5k run
Mini Sprint: 400m open water swim and a 5k run
Super Sprint: 400m open water swim and a 3k run

The Sprint and Mini Sprint categories are open to entrants aged 15 and over on 31/12/2026. The Super Sprint category is open to entrants aged 13 and over on 31/12/2026. Separate relay options are available for each distance. Price ranges listed for individual distances include the Sprint, Mini Sprint and Super Sprint options and their relay equivalents.
