The Bay Aquathlon Series
The Bay Aquathlon Series is an open water aquathlon series organised by AspireX Events and located at Secret Bar & Kitchen. The 2026 series comprises three race dates: 16 June, 16 July and 27 August, with an option to enter the full series.
Each individual race includes three distance options:
- Sprint distance: 750m open water swim and a 5k run.
- Mini Sprint distance: 400m open water swim and a 5k run.
- Super Sprint distance: 400m open water swim and a 3k run.
The Mini Sprint is presented as an opportunity for those less confident in open water to challenge themselves. The Super Sprint is described as appropriate for beginners or first time open water swimmers. The Sprint distance pairs the longest swim with a 5k run and is noted for more experienced athletes.
Entry fees for the series are listed between £29.95 and £39.95. Separate offers are shown for individual race entries, including specific options for Race 3.
Event operations include registration, transition access, a mandatory race briefing, an acclimatisation period, and an award ceremony.
