Burr Oak Heritage Festival 5K
The Burr Oak Heritage Festival presents the annual 5K event billed this year as "The A-maize-ing race." It takes place on July 25, 2026 in Burr Oak, Michigan. The race start area is at the storefront next to Woody's Wash, 218 S. Third St., Burr Oak, MI 49030.
The event program includes the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Kids Fun Run
Registration opens on May 1. Entry fees are listed at $10 for early registration through July 10, with late and same day registration also listed at $10. Children 5 and under are free. Tee shirts are not included in the race fee and may be purchased for an additional $10. To be guaranteed a tee shirt, registration must be completed before July 20. A limited number of extra tee shirts will be available at packet pickup.
Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in these age categories: 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and Over.
Timing and scoring are provided by MAC's Sports Timing and results will be posted during the event and online. Race directors reserve the right to cancel the race for inclement weather or other safety concerns; refunds will not be made in those circumstances.
