The Barodorf
The Barodorf, also referred to as the Vine to Stein, is a trail running event held in South Australia. The route utilizes portions of the Heysen Trail, connecting lesser-known natural areas between the Barossa Valley and Hahndorf. In 2026, the course starts in the Barossa Valley wine region and traverses through the Adelaide Hills to reach the finish. The event direction alternates annually, providing participants with different elevations and perspectives of the surrounding landscapes.
The event features several trail distances to accommodate different endurance levels:
- 120 km
- 50 mile
- 55 km
- 37 km
- 16 km
The primary venue for the event is located at Bethany Reserve on Bethany Road. Participants run across a variety of terrains in South Australia's premier wine-growing area and through the Adelaide Hills.
