The Barodorf : Race overview
The Barodorf is a point-to-point trail event in South Australia linking the Barossa Valley with the historic village of Hahndorf. The course uses vineyard trails, native bushland, ridgelines and sections of the Heysen Trail, and runs through a mix of rural and heritage town environments. The event direction alternates each year: in even years the course runs south from the Barossa to Hahndorf, and in odd years it runs north from Hahndorf back to the Barossa.

- 50 mile - Mt Crawford Visitor Centre → Hahndorf; +3289 m / -3360 m
- 55 km - Cudlee Creek → Hahndorf; +2209 m / -2173 m
- 37 km - Cherryville → Hahndorf; +1187 m / -1361 m
- 16 km - Lofty → Hahndorf; +354 m / -731 m
Entries are capped to preserve the trail and course quality. Published entry fees vary by distance and release period; for example early-bird fees start from $79 for the 16 km and from $319 for the 120 km, with later release prices higher.
