The Barn Run : Williamston, MI
The Barn Run takes place on October 17, 2026, at 343 E Grand River in Williamston, MI. The event offers a 5K run/walk held mainly on trail with some road sections. The course runs along the Red Cedar River and is described as scenic; a course map is noted as forthcoming.
Entry fees vary by registration date: $30 through September 30 with a guaranteed t-shirt, $35 from October 1 through October 16 with t-shirts available while supplies last, and $40 on race day with t-shirts not guaranteed. Participants aged 18 and under receive an automatic $10 discount. The organizers provide a finisher medal to all participants for the inaugural event.
Packet pickup is available the night before at the barn, with additional pickup on the morning of the event; specific times are to be announced. Results will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation and posted live after the race.
Awards are presented to overall winners, masters, senior divisions, and the top three finishers in each age group for male and female categories. Age-group categories include 12 and under, 13-14, 15-16, 17-19, then five-year bands from 20-24 through 80+. Proceeds support people with disabilities and special needs.
