The Barn Run

The event is organized by Special Needs Charity Inc.; event proceeds are dedicated to the St. Louis Center in Chelsea, Michigan. The organizer’s mission is to enrich and support the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
The event distance is 5K (3.1 miles). The course is a trail/road mix, described as mainly trail and scenic along the Red Cedar River. A course map is planned but not yet published.
Registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes Sept. 30, 2026. Entry fees and shirt availability vary by date: $30 through Sept. 30 with a t-shirt guaranteed, $35 from Oct. 1–16 with shirts as supplies last, and $40 race day via online registration with shirts not guaranteed. Participants aged 18 and under receive a $10 discount applied automatically at checkout.
