The Barn Run
The Barn Run is a community event in Williamston, Michigan, organized to support the St. Louis Center. The event day includes running and walking options and an Amish-built barn visit that supports the St. Louis Center.
Distances:
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- 2K (1 Mile)
Entry fees vary by date. Early entry is $30 through Sept. 30 with a guaranteed t-shirt for entries made by Oct. 1; fees increase to $35 from Oct. 1 to Oct. 16 with t-shirts while supplies last, and $40 on race day with t-shirts not guaranteed. Participants aged 18 and under receive a $10 discount applied at checkout. Donation options can reduce the entry cost: a $100 donation yields a free entry if completed by Sept. 30; a $75 donation reduces the entry to $25. After Sept. 30 a $100 donation provides a $30 discount.
Included with registration are a t-shirt (guaranteed by Oct. 1), a finisher medal for both the 2K and 5K, and competitive awards for the 5K event. 5K awards include overall winner, Masters, Senior, and top three in each male and female age group from 12 and under through 80+.
The course is a mix of trail and road, mainly trail, following scenic sections along the Red Cedar River. Packet pickup is available the day before at the barn location and the morning of the event at the same address. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
