The Attic SuperHero Run
The Attic SuperHero Run takes place on September 19, 2026 in Midland, Texas. The event is hosted by The Attic Resource Center, a program of One Accord for Kids, and benefits work that supplies beds, car seats, clothing, diapers, and school supplies to children in the local foster system.
The event offers multiple distance options:
- 1K Fun Run
- 5K SuperHero Run
- 10K SuperHero Run
Registration fees are set per distance: the 1K is $25, the 5K is $35, and the 10K is $45. Participants in the 5K and 10K who register by August 17, 2026 are eligible to receive a SuperHero Run shirt; shirts are not guaranteed for later registrations.
Awards are given for male and female top three finishers in each age group for the 5K and 10K. Age groups are 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Chip timing is required for awards.
Course support includes one aid station on the 5K route, two aid stations on the 10K route, and water available at the start and finish. Packet pick up is available at The Attic Resource Center before the race and at the race location on event day. Parking is available in other First Baptist Church lots. Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted from the back of the start area. No refunds are given if the race is canceled for inclement weather.
