Events
The event features multiple participant categories:
- The Ascent 5K: A timed 5K run, walk, or roll. There is a one-hour time limit to complete the course, and mile markers are placed along the route. Registered runners are eligible for age-group awards. Additional awards are given for Best Costume, Most Creative Costume, and Largest Group. All participants receive a custom race shirt and a finisher medal.
- Kids Dash: A 0.25-mile race for children 10 years old and under. The top three finishers receive awards.
- Volunteer & Run: An option that combines volunteering before the race with participation in the 5K. Volunteers assist with setup and registration starting 1.5 hours before the race start.
Race-Day Details
Packet pick-up begins at 7:00 AM at Race HQ in Rob Fleming Park. The Kids Dash starts at 8:00 AM, followed by the Ascent 5K start at 8:15 AM. The course closes at 9:15 AM.
