The Aliza Lapierre Fan Club Trail Race
The Richmond Trail Running Club organizes an annual trail event in Richmond, Vermont. The event is volunteer run and operates as a charity race. Profits from the event are donated to provide area youth and families with affordable skiing and snowboarding lessons through the Cochran's Ski Area non profit. Registration closes on July 17 and day of registration is not offered.

The longer course covers approximately 8 miles of road and 23 miles of rugged trail through Huntington, Starksboro, Hinesburg and Richmond, with more than 5,000 feet of climbing. The 26k course includes about 3 miles of road and 13 miles of rugged trail through Huntington, Hinesburg and Richmond, with over 2,500 feet of climbing. Aid stations are placed approximately every 5 to 7 miles and provide snacks and drinks. Both courses finish at Cochran's Ski and Bike Area in Richmond.
