The fund has provided funding to establish a brain tissue repository at a university medical center that, in January 2022, became the POND Brain Bank for PANDAS/PANS and other neuroimmune disorders. The organizing group collaborates with advocacy partners to increase awareness and to provide education for physicians and mental health professionals on recognition and treatment of these disorders.
