The Ainger Creek Trailblazer 5K
The Ainger Creek Trailblazer 5K takes place on October 24, 2026 in Englewood, Florida at 701 Medical Blvd. The event benefits Dollars for Mammograms and the Englewood YMCA and is described as the inaugural edition. It includes a main trail run and a short kids fun run.

The 5K is held on trail terrain and is chip timed. All 5K participants receive a finisher medal. Awards are given for Male and Female Overall, Youth, Masters (40+), Grandmaster (50+), Senior Grandmaster (60+), Veterans (70+), and the top Male and Female in each age group. Age groups include 0-9, 10-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Registration for the 5K opens July 20, 2026 and closes September 15, 2026; the listed registration fee for the 5K is $30. The Trailblazer Kids Fun Run has free registration and remains open until the event. Pet participation is available for an additional fee of $10; pets must be leashed and owners should bring waste bags.
