The 21.5K
The inaugural 21.5K (13.3 miles) is scheduled for May 31, 2026 in Philadelphia. The event begins and finishes in North Philly near 900 W Hunting Park Ave and follows a route that connects neighborhoods, landmarks, and communities across the city before returning to the start.
The race is positioned on the final Sunday of May to complement the Broad Street Run. It is organized as an open streets course; pace groups will be used to help keep the community together along the route.
Participation is limited to 215 runners and at least 35 volunteers, with a goal of 250 total participants. Those numbers reference Philly (215) and America's 250th anniversary. Organizers state that participants are expected to follow all traffic laws and signals, remain aware of their surroundings, and run safely and responsibly while on course.
