The 2026 Dunoon 10k Coastal Road Race
The event takes place on Saturday 1 August 2026 in The West Bay, Dunoon. It is a 10 km road race run along the coast road, heading south along the banks of the Firth of Clyde before turning and returning to the finish near The Boat House at 72 Victoria Parade, Dunoon PA23 7HU.
The route has been officially measured by a Scottish Athletics Federation accredited measurer and the race will run under a Scottish Athletics permit. The organiser reports a total of 280 places.
Entry fee is £23. Scottish Athletics members receive a £2 discount when their SA number is entered at registration. The closing date for entries is 18 July 2026. All finishers will receive a branded technical race t-shirt and a commemorative race medal. Race numbers will be issued on the day. Runners must be over the age of 15 on the day of the race.
Prize money is confirmed for senior and veteran categories. Senior prizes for men and women are £70 for 1st, £40 for 2nd, and £20 for 3rd. Veteran prizes include £20 for 1st in V40, 1st in V50, 1st in V60, and 1st in V70. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
