The 2026 Dunoon 10k Coastal Road Race
The event is a measured, flat 10 km road race along the coast road in Dunoon. The route runs south along the banks of the Firth of Clyde, then turns and returns to the finish. The course has been officially measured by a Scottish Athletics Federation accredited measurer and will be held under a Scottish Athletics permit.
Prize money is offered for senior categories for both male and female finishers: 1st £70, 2nd £40, 3rd £20. Veteran category prizes are awarded as £20 for 1st V40, 1st V50, 1st V60 and 1st V70.
Entry fee information was published as £23 with a £2 discount for Scottish Athletics members when the member number is entered at registration. The published closing date for entries was 18 July 2026. Total places were listed as 295 and the event is marked as closed.
All finishers receive a branded technical race t-shirt and a commemorative race medal. Race numbers are issued on the day. Registration was arranged to open from 09:30 on Dunoon Pier, a short walking distance from the start and finish area at The Boat House cafe in the West Bay.
