The 2026 Dunoon 10k Coastal Road Race
The Dunoon 10k Coastal Road Race is a flat road competition held along the banks of the Firth of Clyde. Scheduled for Saturday 1st August 2026, the event follows a route along the coast road, heading south before turning back toward the finish line. The course is officially measured by a Scottish Athletics Federation accredited measurer and operates under a Scottish Athletics permit.

The race starts and finishes near The Boat House at West Bay in Dunoon. Registration takes place on race day at Dunoon Pier, which is located a five-minute walk from the starting area. The competition is open to participants who are at least 15 years old on the day of the event. The field is limited to a total of 250 places.
Financial awards are available for top finishers in several categories. Senior prizes are provided for the first, second, and third place male and female runners. Additionally, prizes are awarded to the first place male and female finishers in the veteran age groups, including V40, V50, V60, and V70.
