The Arc Grand Prix Run and Walk
The Arc Grand Prix Run and Walk is a charity footrace held at Watkins Glen International, 2790 County Route 16, Watkins Glen, NY, on October 31, 2026. The event benefits The Arc Chemung-Schuyler, with proceeds supporting local programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism. Watkins Glen International has presented the event since 2014 and this installment is the 13th year.
The event offers multiple course options on the motor racing facility. The Track course follows the full 3.4 mile circuit including the boot; registrants may choose one lap (about 5k) or two laps (about 10k). The Track course is timed. The Pit Road course is a 1 mile loop that passes Victory Lane and returns via Pit Road; this course is not timed and finishes at the same finish line as the Track course.
Participants receive a long sleeved performance crew t shirt in adult sizes S to 3XL and youth sizes S to L. Youth participants receive a finisher ribbon. Awards include medals for 1st through 3rd place male and female finishers by age group for the 3.4 mile and 6.8 mile courses, plus overall male and female medals. Awards are available immediately at the awards table; there is no formal award ceremony.
Packet pickup occurs before race day at Arnot Mall and on race day at Watkins Glen International. Registration is offered in adult and youth categories with early bird and pre registration pricing tiers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
