The Arc Grand Prix Run and Walk
The Arc Grand Prix Run and Walk takes place on October 31, 2026 at Watkins Glen International, 2790 County Route 16, Watkins Glen, NY. The event is a charity race for The Arc Chemung Schuyler and is presented on the motor racing track. This edition is the 13th year of the event.
Participants may choose from the following distances:
- 3.4 mile track lap including the boot; timed course
- 6.8 mile two laps of the track; timed course and for ages 13 and older
- 1 mile Pit Road Walk offering a close view of Victory Lane; not timed
Medals are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers of the 3.4 mile and 6.8 mile courses in age groups 5 to 9, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. Overall male and female winners of the 3.4 mile and 6.8 mile courses also receive medals. Award winners may collect their awards immediately at the awards table; there is no formal award ceremony.
All participants receive a long sleeved performance crew t shirt with adult sizes available in S through 3XL and youth sizes S through L. Youth participants receive a finisher ribbon. Shirt size requests submitted after September 30 cannot be guaranteed.
Packet pickup is available in the days before the race at Arnot Mall and on race day at Watkins Glen International. The event supports fundraising for The Arc Chemung Schuyler and reported fundraising activity for the organization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
