The Arc Grand Prix Run and Walk
The Arc Grand Prix Run and Walk is an annual charity event held at Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, New York on October 31, 2026. The event benefits The Arc Chemung-Schuyler and has been presented at Watkins Glen International since 2014; 2026 is the event's 13th year. Packet pickup takes place in the days before the event at the Arnot Mall and on site at Watkins Glen International.
Participants can choose between courses on the motor racing track or a shorter Pit Road route. The track options are timed and include the track section known as the boot. The Pit Road course provides a view of Victory Lane, finishes with the track participants, and is not timed.
Participants receive a long sleeve performance crew shirt in adult sizes S to 3XL and youth sizes S to L; size requests received after September 30 may not be guaranteed. All youth participants receive a finisher ribbon.
Awards are presented as medals for 1st through 3rd place male and female finishers in defined age groups for both track distances, plus overall male and female medals for each track distance. Award winners may collect medals immediately at the awards table; there is no formal award ceremony. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
