The Arc Grand Prix Run and Walk
The Arc Grand Prix Run and Walk is an annual charity race held at Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, New York. The event benefits The Arc Chemung-Schuyler, with proceeds supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism in the local community. The 2026 edition is presented as the 13th year of the event.
Participants can choose from multiple course options that use the motor racing facility. Distances offered include:
- 3.4 mile The Track full lap including the boot, a timed course.
- 6.8 mile Two laps of The Track, timed and available for ages 13 and older.
- 1 mile Pit Road Walk with a view of Victory Lane, not timed.
All participants receive a long sleeved performance crew t shirt; adult sizes are available in S to 3XL and youth sizes S to L. Race shirt size requests cannot be guaranteed for registrations received after September 30. All youth participants receive a finisher ribbon.
Awards are given for the timed Track courses. Medals are awarded 1st through 3rd place male and female in the following age groups 5–9, 10–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70+. Overall male and female winners for each Track distance also receive medals. Award winners may collect their awards at the awards table without a formal ceremony.
