The Arc Grand Prix Run and Walk
The Arc Grand Prix Run and Walk is a charity running event held at Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, New York. The event supports The Arc Chemung-Schuyler, with proceeds directed to programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism in the local community. The 2026 edition is presented as the 13th year of the event.
The event offers multiple course options on the motor racing facility:
- 3.4 miles full lap of the WGI race track, timed.
- 6.8 miles two laps of the WGI race track, timed and open to participants age 13 and older.
- 1 mile Pit Road Walk, untimed, finishes at the same finish line as the track courses.
All participants receive a long sleeved performance crew t shirt in adult sizes S to 3XL or youth sizes S to L. Youth participants receive a finisher ribbon. Shirt size requests received after September 30 may not be guaranteed.
Awards are given by age group for the 3.4 mile and 6.8 mile courses with medals for first through third place in male and female categories, plus overall male and female medals. Timing is used for the Track courses and not used for the Pit Road Walk. Packet pickup is available at Arnot Mall and at Watkins Glen International on the days before and the day of the event.
