About the race
The Thameside 10/5/1 Races, organized by Phoenix Striders and Essex Wildlife Trust, take place at the Thameside Nature Discovery Centre in Stanford-Le-Hope. The event features a 10k race consisting of two laps along a hard-packed path and sea wall with scenic views of the Thames, Kent, and Southend, a 5k race covering the second lap of the 10k route, and a fun 1k/2k Tinies Toddle for children around the centre. Participants receive bespoke medals and can compete for trophies in various categories.
