Thames Trail Ultra
The Thames Trail Ultra is a challenging 47-mile point-to-point ultra-marathon along England’s longest river, the Thames. Starting near Oxford in Iffley and finishing at the YMCA Y Centre in Henley-on-Thames, the course follows the scenic Thames Path and Ridgeway National Trails. Runners experience a mix of terrain including 86% cross-country trails and riverside paths, and 14% roads, with an elevation gain of 947 ft.
The race features five aid stations offering water, snacks, and energy bars, plus real-time GPS tracking for safety and navigation.
