Texas Turkey Run 2026 - Mission, TX
The event takes place on November 28, 2026 at Mission Hike & Bike Trails, 1386 S Conway Ave., Mission, Texas. It offers the following distances:
- 10 km (6.214 miles)
- 5 km
- 1 mile fun walk
Registration opens August 20, 2026. Registration closes October 28, 2026 for the 1 mile and November 28, 2026 for the 5K and 10K. Registration fees listed by the organizer are $35.00 for the 10K, $25.00 for the 5K, and $15.00 for the 1 mile. A group discount of $5 applies for groups of 10 for either the 5K or 10K.
Packet pickup is scheduled for November 25; there is no packet pickup on race day. A premium event shirt and bib are provided; the shirt deadline is November 5, after which shirts are available first come, first served at packet pickup and sizes are not guaranteed.
Chip timing and live results are provided for the 5K and 10K. A collectible finisher medal is awarded and features a Thanksgiving theme with the turkey species Meleagris ocellata. Awards include top male and female overall and age group awards in multiple categories from 15 and under through 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
