Texas Marathon Kingwood

Texas Marathon Kingwood is an annual New Year’s Day running event held on the concrete greenbelt trails of Kingwood, Texas. The course consists of multiple loops that pass Kingwood Lake and begins and ends at St. Martha Catholic School, 2411 Oak Shores Drive, Kingwood TX 77339. The event is organized by a registered 501(c)(3) and supports children's charities.

Distances offered:

• Marathon: 26.2 miles, four loops
• Half marathon: 13.2 miles, two loops

The course is run entirely on public concrete greenbelt trails. Wheelchair and stroller runners are not permitted. Aid stations provide water and sports drink approximately every 1.5 miles; snacks are available at the start/stop aid station about every 6.5 miles. Portable toilets are located at the start and at each aid station. A bag drop area is available near the starting line.

Timing is electronic with chips on the back of bib numbers; bibs should be worn on the front for timing and course monitoring. The course holds USATF certification number TX25008JH. Participant numbers are limited to 500. Packet pickup is available at St. Martha Catholic School on the day before the event and on race day.
