BEARKAT BASH
Bearkat Bash is a community running and walking event at Klein High School, 16715 Stuebner-Airline Rd., Klein, TX 77379, on April 18, 2026. The event offers both timed and non-timed options and a short course for children.
- 5K timed run and non-timed walk
- 1K kids run/walk
Registration for the 5K run, 5K walk and Kids 1K opens December 8, 2025 and closes March 1, 2026. The Sleep In for the Cause option opens January 26, 2026 and remains open through April 19, 2026. Posted fees are $25 for the 5K events, $25 for the Sleep In option, and $10 for the Kids 1K.
Packet pick up is scheduled the day before the event, April 17. Registrations received by April 1 are guaranteed a t-shirt size; after April 1 shirts are available while supplies last.
The event benefits the Klein High School Cross Country team and Klein ISD schools and organizations. The organizer states the event will be held rain or shine; if the event is canceled for weather, no refunds will be issued. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
