Texas Heat : Waxahachie, TX
Texas Heat is a road running event held on August 15, 2026 at Getzendaner Park, 400 South Grand Avenue, Waxahachie, Texas. The event program lists three race options: the Texas Heat 5K, the Texas Heat 5 Miler, and the Texas Heat 1 Miler. The 2026 edition uses a new location.
Registration windows and fees differ by event. Registration for the 5K and the 5 Miler opens December 29, 2025 and closes March 1, 2026 with a listed fee of $25. Registration for the 1 Miler opens March 19, 2026 and closes May 1, 2026 with a listed fee of $15.
Packet pick-up is available the day before the event and on race day near the start area. Participants receive a gender specific shirt and finishers receive a medal.
