Temple to Temple Run - Ephraim to Manti, Utah
Scheduled for October 24, 2026, the inaugural Temple to Temple Run is a road race that links the area near the Ephraim Utah Temple with the area across from the Manti Utah Temple (Pioneer Heritage Gardens). The event offers two measured distances and follows mostly paved, low-traffic rural roads with open views and gentle rolling terrain.
- 13.1 miles (half marathon)
- 26.2 miles (full marathon)
The half marathon is a point-to-point route from Ephraim to Manti; the full marathon adds a loop extension to reach the longer distance and finishes at Pioneer Heritage Gardens. Runners use the west shoulder of US-89 in places and encounter controlled crossings managed by hired law enforcement. Aid stations are placed every few miles, typically offering water, electrolytes, and gels. The event is chip-timed with results posted online after the race.
Packet pick-up is handled at the Sanpete Event Center, located near the finish area, and limited race-day pick-up is available. Medical support and EMS are on standby and aid stations provide basic first aid. Participants must meet age requirements or have guardian consent and are asked to follow traffic and safety directions; headphones and certain items are discouraged or prohibited. USATF certification was planned for May 2026. Finish-line amenities include finisher medals, refreshments, and photo opportunities at the Heritage Garden.
