Temple to Temple Run - Ephraim
Temple to Temple Run is an inaugural event held on October 24, 2026, that offers a half marathon and a full marathon between Ephraim and Manti, Utah. Both courses start adjacent to the Ephraim Utah Temple and finish at Pioneer Heritage Gardens across US 89 from the Manti Utah Temple.
Distances:
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
- 26.2 miles (Full Marathon)
The routes follow scenic, low traffic rural roads with stretches on the west shoulder of US 89. The terrain is mostly paved with gentle rolling sections and clearly marked mile markers. Organizers plan USATF certification. Controlled crossings will be managed by hired law enforcement; there are no full roadway closures.
Aid stations are provided approximately every 2 to 4 miles, with water, electrolytes, gels, and basic first aid. The event is chip timed and results will be posted online. Time limits are in place for each distance. Packet pick-up is required and available at the Sanpete Event Center the day before the race, with limited race-day pick-up at the same venue.
Participant rules include an age requirement or guardian consent, adherence to traffic and safety directions, and discouraged use of headphones for awareness. Prohibited items include bicycles, skateboards, strollers, non service animals, weapons, and hearing blocking audio devices. Post race amenities include finisher medals and refreshments.
