Telaya Wine Run 5k
The Telaya Wine Run is a chip timed 5k run and walk held at Telaya Wine Company in Garden City, Idaho on May 30, 2026. The course starts and finishes at the winery and follows bike trails along the Boise River. The route is described as flat and fast.
Registration includes a super soft ring spun cotton T shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a race bib with chip timing, online posted results, and a pour of wine at the finish. Minors may register at a discounted rate and receive a shirt, medal, and bib; they will not receive the wine glass or a pour of wine.
Age group awards are offered for the top three finishers in each category. Categories are organized by decade and include 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, and 80 and over. Competitive runners must start with the first group to be eligible for age group awards. Results will be posted online and age group awards are available for pickup on the day of the event.
The event names Girls on the Run Treasure Valley as its local charity partner and notes the program has worked with youth since 2001, serving more than 1,000 participants annually and operating at multiple sites each year. Walking is allowed. Dogs are not permitted on site. Packet pick up is available on race morning beginning one hour before the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
