Teen Mission Jasper County - Stars, Stripes, & Service 4th of July 5k
Teen Mission Jasper County organizes a community 5k run to raise funds for its local mission trips. Funds support service projects performed by teens that do not cost homeowners anything.
The event is scheduled for July 4 in Rensselaer, Indiana, at the Jasper County Fairgrounds, 2671 W Clark St. Early packet pickup is scheduled for July 3 at Hope Community, 609 N McKinley Ave, Rensselaer, IN 47978.
The course distance is 3.2 miles (5k). Registration opens April 27, 2026 and closes June 2, 2026. T-shirts are available for purchase for $25.
Age groups for awards are 12 and under, 13 to 18, 19 to 29, 30 to 49, and 50 and over. After the event, awards will be presented to the top male and female in each age group and to the best dressed participant.
In the event of rain the race will continue unless lightning is present or rain becomes too heavy. If lightning or heavy rain occurs the event will be postponed by one hour. Updates will be posted on social media and sent by email. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
